If you have been working on improving your health and well-being but have not considered your posture, you are missing out on a crucial component to your overall health. On March 28th, Lisa Harris will lead a workshop at 1:00 p.m. titled “Posture: Your Gateway To Health.”
Your posture involves your skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems so when you have poor posture you can be left feeling out of whack. What is worse, after an extended period of misalignment your body will begin to experience pain. Correcting your posture, however, is not as simple as moving one part of your body or another back into the proper place. It is an ongoing process that can lead to a lifetime of health.
At the workshop, you will learn to sense when your posture is poor and be provided with five action items to implement to get on the path to great posture. You will also get to partake in an aligned yoga session so you can feel your body in proper posture. All of this will enable you to alleviate your body’s aches and pains.
