- Essential oils have been used since the earliest recorded history! Mainly these uses were for food flavoring, air fresheners, and veterinary preparations.
- They can be used topically, administered as aromatherapy, or ingested.
- They are easily absorbed by the skin due to their properties.
- Essential oils really aren’t oils, they’re simply concentrated plant extract. So concentrated, in fact, that a single drop of peppermint essential oil is equivalent to 28 cups of peppermint tea.
