Combining yoga movements and mantras can help you enjoy a life filled with love.
Yoga can do much more than just relax and rejuvenate your body. It can also help you invite love into your life. Add these movements and love mantras to your next yoga practice to help open the door to love.
- Crescent lunge with “I am fearless.” Crescent lunge helps to open your hips, which is where people typically hold onto fear. From downward dog, step your right foot forward in between your hands while you slide your left foot back so your legs are wide. Put your hand on your front knees and curve your spine, leaning back.
- Archer’s pose with “I am love.” This pose provides the vision of an archer drawing an arrow to fight for love. Sit on the ground with your legs stretched out. Use two fingers to grab your big toes. Breath in. Breath out and left one leg by bending your knee and leaning back.
- Bow pose with “I open my heart to forgiveness.” While your body mimics the shape of a weapon in this pose, it is actually working to prostate yourself in a vulnerable position and open your heart. Lie on your stomach, bend your knees, and reach back to grab the outside of your ankles. Inhale while you lift your chest and feet toward the sky.
