As hot as summer has been, a popsicle is always a welcome treat. Sure, you may think, it is probably full of sugar and artificial colors, but at least it will cool you off!
Did you know you can have the best of both worlds? To whip up a delicious popsicle that is actually great for you and your skin, use this recipe for cucumber and lime popsicles.
- The juice and zest of 2 limes
- 3 tablespoons of your favorite sweetener (we love agave)
- 1 large peeled cucumber, cut into chunks
- 1 can of full fat coconut milk
- A pinch of salt
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a popsicle mold, tapping as you pour to get rid of air bubbles. Freeze overnight and enjoy! The cucumber will help hydrate your skin while the lime adds a flavorful zest to these treats. They are perfect to enjoy by the pool!
