Delicious Smoothie Recipe for Summer

Smoothies are one of the best and easiest ways to add fruits and vegetables into your diet. Keep this delicious tropical treat smoothie in mind the next time you are looking for a healthy, refreshing drink to nourish your body.


  • 1 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened pineapple cubes
  • ½ cup soft silken tofu
  • ½ cup coconut sorbet
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
  • ½ teaspoon minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Puree all ingredients in a blender until it is smooth. Pour into a chilled serving glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge. This smoothie contains 11 grams of protein from the silken tofu, as well as vitamin C from the lime juice to help keep you full and healthy.
