Sweep Your System With This Delicious Detox Recipe
Eating more healthfully does not mean your food has to become boring. Sure, you may think, but I need to get that spinach in my body and I’m not going to enjoy it. We challenge you, though, to try this sumptuous smoothie and see if you do not actually enjoy your serving of greens. To make it, you will need:
- ½ tablespoon coconut butter
- ¾ cup coconut water
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla powder
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger
- ½ teaspoon Matcha powder
- ½ teaspoon spirulina powder
- ½ small chopped cucumber
- 1 cup greens (e.g. spinach, kale)
- 1 small chopped apple
- 1 banana
Blend the coconut butter, coconut water, vanilla powder, and almond butter together. Add cinnamon, ginger, Matcha powder, and spirulina powder. Slowly add the produce and blend until smooth.
