Flavor the Holiday With These Fun, Healthy Recipes

The 4th of July is just around the corner! You are probably getting excited, but you do not want the holiday to set back your healthy eating habits. Fortunately, there are a number of healthy recipes that are perfect for your patriotic celebrations!

  • Red, White, & Blue-Chetta: Make crostinis with a loaf of whole wheat bread. Combine blueberries, tomatoes, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, and salt together. Top each crostini with mozzarella and this mixture; enjoy!
  • Patriotic Parfait: Add our country’s colors to your meal by layering raspberries, blueberries, plain Greek yogurt, and honey. When served in mason jars, these colorful parfaits are perfect for your 4th of July picnic.
  • Feta Flags: Cut small cubes of watermelon. Layer them with blueberries and feta on toothpicks to create patriotic colored appetizers that are as easy as they are delicious!

We hope you have a fun and healthy 4th of July! We’ll be closed on Saturday July 4th so that we can enjoy the holiday with our families but our regular schedule will resume on Sunday July 5th.
