On September 23rd the fall equinox is one of the most balanced days of the year, which is the perfect time to make sure you too are balanced! Make sure to try these balancing poses to get in tune with the fall equinox this year.
- Warrior II – put your left leg forward with your legs 4 feet apart. Make sure your shoulders are aligned directly over your hipbones to help balance your upper and lower body.
- Triangle pose – straighten your front, left leg and bring your front, left hand to the floor. Find the alignment of your joints while keeping your top hip stacked on top of your bottom hip. Also, make sure that your top shoulder is aligned with your bottom shoulder and your hipbones are still staked.
- Half-moon pose – starting in the triangle pose, bend your front left knee and lift your back right leg. Make sure to keep the alignment in your joints, while aligning your hips and shoulders.
